~ Prose (Part I)

~ Prose (Part I)
Winter is nipping at Autumns multicolored train, trimmed in gold she rivals the Sun.

This morning she woke with Winters first breath clinging to flora, fauna, her terra firma

Abode, chilled. She longs to continue her flamboyant promenade throughout the countryside, knowing in her wake beauty blooms and eyes behold the brush of Gods hand.

~ As Dawn Broke

Clouds merged

Fog lay dense, heavy

Ghostly images of tree lines

Scattered amongst the gray;

No shadow of existence

Just the caul of the crow

Caught within the grip

Of a macabre morning

Perched on a crumbling

Headstone

Unattended…all…alone.

~ Dawn Dawning
Toes filter frothy foam

Low tide relaxes

As if a pulled back sheet,

Undines waken waves

With a magical flicker

Here, there, here, there

Eyes absorbed in beauty

Dare not blink –

Beauty is rare…

And I see her

Crossing the waves

Humbled fir bowing

Winter whips with a vengeance

Laden, a branch snaps

~ My Sweet

~ My Sweet

Shall I pick thee berries
one
by
one
Warm ‘neath this
Sultry sun,

Whose succulent juices
upon
the tongue to play

As taste and touch gives sway

To this day, ‘neath a sultry sun
Shall I pick thee Berries
one
by
one?

I

Stretching, Dawn yawned

Light plays upon horizons

Sirens seeking sailors

II

Scarlet sky speaks Death

Tumultuous waves clashing

Cries for “Mother” fade

III

Calm the Sea beds floor

Sailors heads hung in defeat

Singing Hymns to Sea.
