A swirl of thought

Flash of freeze framed memories

Childhood beckons

Humbled fir bowing

Winter whips with a vengeance

Laden, a branch snaps

Beneath the surface

Collective consciousness sparks

Deja-vu moments

~ My Sweet

Shall I pick thee berries
one
by
one
Warm ‘neath this
Sultry sun,

Whose succulent juices
upon
the tongue to play

As taste and touch gives sway

To this day, ‘neath a sultry sun
Shall I pick thee Berries
one
by
one?

Beautiful, unique Jagged pieces of

Who we are

Who we are meant to be
As life carves our existence

Respecter of none

Uprooted Oak tree

Broken branches lie, decay

Roots lost to the winds

~ Greed
When Greed the heart does consume

Logic finds no room

Distorted – nay, falsehoods – proclaimed

From forked tongues without restrain

All Dignity cast aside

Void of substance, alter pride

And family, friends stand in awe

Observing the circus one and all
When Greed the heart does consume

Logic finds no room.
