~ Hymn of the Patriots ~

A hymn came drifting down the vale
Above the winds words that bewail
And sorrow seeped through one and all
Lamenting the memory of the Patriots fall

Those who gave without hesitation
For freedoms reign, a firm foundation
Liberty, justice their driving force
Valor and honor stayed their course:

By land, by air, by sea,
Brothers in arms are we
Facing danger or death
Until our final breath
Side by side we’ll stand
Protecting our homeland

Through bullet, bomb and blare
Through suffering, pain, despair
Resolute, always to rise
As our flag still testifies
By land, by air, by sea
Brothers in arms are we

Though battle surrounds and rages
Through fears we arrive courages
Our enemies to defy
Ferocious our battle cry
By land, by air, by sea
Brothers in arms are we

For brothers who gave their all
The line of duty your final call
We hold in greatest esteem
Your gift; The American Dream
Priceless you keep on giving
In liberty your legacy living

By land, by air, by sea,
Brothers in arms are we
Facing danger or death
Until our final breath
Side by side we’ll stand
Protecting our homeland

A hymn came drifting down the vale
Above the winds words that bewail
And sorrow seeped through one and all
Lamenting the memory of the Patriots fall

Those who gave without hesitation
For freedoms reign, a firm foundation
Liberty, justice their driving force
Valor and honor stayed their course.
