~ Defining Moment ~

~ Defining Moment ~

Deprived, yet not in despair
She walked with an elegant air
Dignity in every step
Her azure eyes never wept

Lost to her those hard earned things
That temporary happiness brings
Suddenly it was all so clear
Those material items she held so dear

Did nothing to define her
Only seemed to bind her
To memories lost long ago
That kept her in a state of woe

Deprived, yet not in despair
She walked with an elegant air
Dignity in every step
Her azure eyes never wept
