~ Simply You ~

~ Simply You ~

When you were ill and in need
I opened my heart, my wallet, my home
When your son was ill and in need
I opened my heart, my wallet, my home

Yet, in my sudden sickness
You didn’t bother to pick up the phone
Or turn the ignition key
And your lack thereof spoke volumes to me

Someday, life will cast you from your pretentious throne
And tell me, where, where, will then will you call home?
