~ Sonnet ~

Faint the moon above misty veil
Eerie cast of light from which I dwell
Orb of ancient mysteries
Hide not, reveal the self to me
You who make waters ebb and flow
Set seasons from which we reap, we sow
A setnel in the blackest of night
Watchful of every human plight
No! Hide not, reveal thyself to me
Orb of ancient mysteries.
