~ Spring Reigns ~

~ Spring Reigns ~

The battle is nearly won
Triumphant, Spring rises
Reveals her beauty and grace
As the snow tipped crocus peeks

About, curios

Of purples, yellows and greens
Her cloak of many colors
Reaches far and wide
On the landscapes of our lives

Spirits soar

Radiant rays adhere her call
Filling our days with warmth
Our evening skies star stunned;
Banished winters doom and gloom

Life revived:

Extending arms, winds must blow
Her rains must fall, heavy, slow
Her seasonal treasures to be revealed
Gifted to humans, a heart fulfilled

Spring reigns.
