~When True Love Extends A Hand ~

~ When True Love Extends A Hand ~

True love never wounds or scars

Never bruises, never marrs

Never leaves a heart cry bleeding,

Oblivious to its purest pleading

True love never reacts in malice

Never degrades, never callous

Never leaves a heart cry bleeding,

Oblivious to its purest pleading

No, true love extends a hand

Lifts you up where you can stand,

Shoulders back, head held high

Holding your foe’s eye to eye

Boldly walking through the battle;

Confidence sure can rattle

When, true love extends a hand.
